Paula`s Pizza & Italian Restaurant in New Bern

We did a seminar at this location. They have a great room and attentive staff. Everyone enjoyed the food too.

Food is always fantastic. However, I have heard VERY nasty things about the Manager Melissa and how she treats staff. Disappointed in the things I have heard especially being this restaurant used to be very family oriented.

I was very disappointed. The stuffed shells were not done, had hardly anything in them! The ranch dressing tastes like too much mayonnaise. I though you used sour cream in ranch dressing. The prices went sky rocketing since you moved to the new spot. The atmosphere was totally different from the other place too. I will not be coming back to eat here... very different from your old location!!! Not sure what happened, but it's a shame because your place used to be enjoyable coming to eat at...

I had the meatballs and pizza. It was ok.

I'm not sure why people love this place. I tried it again after having a horrible experience a year or so ago. They disappoint again! The lettuce in the salad was old. Gross.. brown and mealy. Ordered spaghetti and lasagna and you would be better off getting premade from the frozen section. Its plain. A jar of tomato sauce and noodles for 15 bucks. Pretty lame. The only good part of the entire meal was the loaf of bread. It was plain too but thats bearable for bread. I would recommend the frozen section at food lion before here.
